- 1 - ABSTRACT: Imaging Device An imaging device (10) comprises an array of photosensitive reading elements (R2) and an array of associated marking elements (S), one for each reading element. Each reading element (R2) is linked to its associated marking element (S), by way of a circuit which comprises thin-film tran- sistor amplifiers (22). In this way the reading elements, marking elements and amplifier circuits may be carried by a compact and inexpensive common structure (21). The imaging device may be used for copying documents as well as for reading documents and transmitting the information to another of the imaging devices and for producing a record from information received from another of the devices.
