ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A photosensitive element having a three layered photo- conductive portion comprising a first layer of vitreous selenium or a vitreous arsenic-selenium alloy, a second layer comprising a vitreous arsenic-tellurium-selenium alloy and a third layer comprising a vitreous arsenic-selenium alloy. A method of imaging the photosensitive element is also described.
