To develop an antibiotic having a novel mechanism of action, the present inventors have searched for a compound that has weak cytotoxicity, the physical property of high solubility in water, the effect of inhibiting both DNA gyrase GyrB and topoisomerase IV ParE subunits, and sufficient antibacterial activity. As a result, the present inventors have completed the present invention by finding that a compound of the present invention represented by the general formula (1), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and a prodrug thereof have desirable properties. The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition (particularly, a preventive or therapeutic composition for infectious disease) comprising a compound represented by the formula (1), a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, or a prodrug thereof as an active ingredient.

Pour créer un antibiotique ayant un nouveau mécanisme d'action, les présents inventeurs ont recherché des composés qui ont une faible cytotoxicité, une propriété physique de solubilité élevée dans l'eau, une action inhibitrice à l'encontre à la fois de la sous-unité d'ADN gyrase GyrB et de la sous-unité de topoisomérase IV ParE et une activité anti-microbienne suffisante. Comme résultat, ils ont trouvé qu'un composé représenté par la formule générale (1) de l'invention, un sel pharmacologiquement acceptable de celui-ci et un promédicament de celui-ci ont des propriétés privilégiées et ainsi, ont réalisé l'invention. L'invention porte sur une composition pharmaceutique (en particulier une composition pour empêcher ou traiter des maladies infectieuses) contenant le composé représenté par la formule (1), un sel pharmacologiquement acceptable de celui-ci ou un promédicament de celui-ci comme ingrédient actif.
