An imidazopyridine compound represented by the formula [I]: [wherein R1 and R2 each independently represents C1-6 alkyl, etc.; R3 and R4 each independently represents hydrogen, methyl, etc.; Ar1 represents a divalent substituent, e.g., a mono- or dicyclic, 3- to 8-membered, aromatic or aliphatic, heterocyclic group; Ar2 represents an aromatic carbocyclic or aromatic heterocyclic group; W represents -(CH2)m-, etc.; and m is an integer of 1-10]. The compound functions as a melanin-concentrating hormone receptor antagonist and is useful as, e.g., a therapeutic agent for obesity, etc.
