ABSTRACT This invention relates to novel imidazopyridine derivatives of the formula Image or a salt thereof; wherein one of W, X, Y, and Z is -N- and the others are -CH- and A is Image wherein m is 0 or 1, or A is a -(CH2)n-(CR5R6)p- group wherein n is 0 to 8, p is 0 to 2, and R5 and R6 are independtly hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl. These derivatives are useful in the treat- ment of diseases or disorders mediated by platelet- activating factor. This invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions of such imidazopyridine derivatives.
