ABSTRACT Macroporous anion exchange resins based on phenol/formaldehyde and carrying essentially secondary amino groups are suitable as carriers for the immobilization of acylases, the enzyme and carrier being bound together by means of a diisocyanate. The immobilized systems have a high enzyme activity and cleave even sterically hindered N-acyl-D,L- aminoacids stereospecifically.
