A chromatographic assay test device for use with immunoassays. The test device has a sample collection member pivotally coupled to a test strip receiving member. The sample collection member has a window for applying a test sample to a pad accessible through the window and the pad is repositionable to an inverted position to contact a chromatographic member inserted into the test device. The chromatographic member is then brought into opposition to the sample collection member thus improving test performance by reducing the manipulation of samples. The test device is constructed from five interconnected panels which are die cut from SBS cardboard. The first panel (12) has a window (14) for inserting a test strip and the second panel (20) has a window (22) for viewing the test strip during the test procedure. The third panel (30) has the repositionable pad section. The fourth panel (40) has a window (42) for applying the test sample and the fifth panel (50) covers the test sample window (42). The first and second panels are coupled to form a first planar member and the third and fourth panels are coupled to form the sample collection member. The fifth panel includes a reusable adhesive for securing the fifth panel over the sample window in the fourth panel.

Le dispositif d'essai est constitué d'un élément de recueil d'échantillons associé de façon pivotante à un élément de support de bande d'essai. L'élément de recueil d'échantillons comporte une fenêtre permettant d'appliquer un échantillon d'essai sur un support accessible par la fenêtre; on peut repositionner ce support en sens inverse pour le mettre en contact avec un élément de chromatographie inséré dans le dispositif d'essai. L'élément de chromatographie est alors placé contre l'élément de recueil d'échantillon, ce qui améliore la performance de l'essai en réduisant la manipulation des échantillons. Le dispositif d'essai est constitué de cinq panneaux interconnectés qui sont coupés à la forme dans du carton blanchi rigide. Le premier panneau (12) comporte une fenêtre (14) destinée à l'insertion d'une bande d'essai, et le deuxième panneau (20) comporte une fenêtre (22) permettant de voir la bande d'essai pendant la procédure d'essai. Le troisième panneau (30) comporte le support repositionnable. Le quatrième panneau (40) comporte une fenêtre (42) destinée à l'application de l'échantillon d'essai, et le cinquième panneau (50) recouvre la fenêtre à échantillon d'essai (42). Le premier et le deuxième panneau sont reliés, et forment un premier élément planaire, et le troisième et le quatrième panneau sont reliés et forment l'élément de recueil d'échantillons. Le cinquième panneau comporte un adhésif réutilisable permettant de fixer le cinquième panneau au-dessus de la fenêtre à échantillon ménagée dans le quatrième panneau.
