Compounds having immunomodulatory activity which are peptide-type compounds, or variants of fragments thereof, including the N-terminal acylated and C- terminal amidated or esterified forms of up to 30 amino acids wherein the peptide-type compound comprises the formula (a): R aa76-77 L aa79-84 or (b): aa84-79 L aa77-76 R, wherein aa76 is E or V; aa77 is D, S or N; aa79 is R or G; aa80 is I or N; aa81 is a small or hydrophobic amino acid; aa82 is R or L; aa83 is G or R; aa84 is a small or hydrophobic amino acid; wherein, in said compound, at least one of the amino acids is the D isomer. These compounds are used by themselves or in combination with immunosuppressant drugs, to reduce CTL activation, particularly in association with transplantation.

Cette invention concerne des composés qui possèdent une activité immunorégulatrice. Ces composés consistent en des composés de type peptides ou, encore, en des fragments ou des variantes de ces derniers, et comprennent les formes acylées à la terminaison N et amidées ou estérifiées à la terminaison C de jusqu'à 30 acides aminés. Le composé de type peptide correspond à la formule (a) R aa?76-77¿ L aa?76-84¿ ou (b) aa?84-79¿ L aa?77-76¿ R où aa?76¿ représente E ou V, aa?77¿ représente D, S ou N, aa?79¿ représente R ou G, aa?80¿ représente I ou N, aa?81¿ représente un acide aminé hydrophobe ou de petite taille, aa?82¿ représente R ou L, aa?83¿ représente G ou R et, enfin, aa?84¿ représente un acide aminé hydrophobe ou de petite taille. L'un au moins des acides aminés de ces composés consiste en l'isomère D. Ces composés peuvent être utilisés seuls ou en combinaison avec des médicaments immunosuppresseurs afin de réduire l'activation de cellules T cytotoxiques, notamment lors de transplantations.
