IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES, HYBRIDOMAS AND METHODS OF TRANSPLANTATION Abstract New monoclonal antibodies have been found to have specific binding affinity for the CD3-T cell antigen receptor complex and not to be reactive with human monocytes. The antibodies are immunosuppressive and useful in the treatment or prophylaxis of transplant rejection or GVHD without resulting in acute reactionsor EBV-associated lymphoproliferative syndrome. Representative embodiments include the BC3 monoclonal antibody and the BC3 hybridoma for producing the antibody.
