An impact device (10) for breaking up and separating hard material comprises an actuating system for providing a faster cycle rate as well as an increased impact force. More specifically, the device (10) includes a pair of pistons (173, 175) movably arranged in a cylinder (28) to cooperate in compressing the gaseous component prior to initiating the blow. A closed tube (204) is provided to fluidly interconnect opposite chambers (177, 181) adjacent the two pistons (173, 175) to coordinate the different movements of the pistons to effect the desired compression. The impact device (10) is particularly well suited for use in an impact bucket (12).
Cette invention concerne un dispositif de percussion (10) servant à briser et disloquer des matériaux durs et qui comprend un mécanisme permettant d'accélérer le va-et-vient de l'organe de percussion tou en multipliant la force d'impact. Plus précisément, le dispositif (10) comprend une paire de pistons (173, 175) mobiles dans un cylindre (28) de manière à comprimer le gaz contenu dans le cylindre avant de déclencher le coup. Un tube fermé (204) met en communication deux chambres opposées (177, 181) adjacentes aux deux pistons (173, 175) pour coordonner les mouvements desdits pistons destinés à réaliser la compression recherchée. Le dispositif de percussion (10) est particulièrement adapté aux godets brise-béton à percussion.
