In order to design the positional displacement of the impact member structurallysimple and operationally reliable in an impact crusher comprising a rotor (9) and an impact member provided in the housing in an adjustable position directly underneath the feed aperture of the material to be crushed, the impact member is provided with an impact plate (1) linearly displaceable in relation to the rotor (9).
