Amorphous polyester resin compositions improved in impact resistance with little impair in the optical properties inherent in amorphous polyester resin can be obtained by using a core-shell impact modifier constituted of (A) 40 to 90 parts of a core made of a butadiene copolymer, (B) 5 to 40 parts of an inner shell made by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing a hydroxyl- or alkoxy-bearing (meth)acrylic ester monomer, and (C) 5 to 20 parts of an outer shell made by polymerizing a monomer mixture containing an aromatic vinyl monomer.

L'invention concerne des compositions de résine polyester amorphe dont la résistance aux impacts est améliorée, les propriétés optiques inhérentes à la résine polyester amorphe ne subissent qu'une légère altération. Les compositions peuvent être obtenues à partir d'un modificateur d'impact de type core-shell constitué de (A) 40 à 90 parties d'un noyau formé d'un copolymère de butadiène, (B) 5 à 40 parties d'une enveloppe interne formée par polymérisation d'un mélange monomère contenant un monomère d'ester (méth)acrylique portant un hydroxyle ou un alcoxy et (C) 5 à 20 parties d'une enveloppe externe formée par polymérisation d'un mélange monomère contenant un monomère aromatique vinylique.
