A thermoplastic molding composition characterized by its flame retardance and impact strength is disclosed. The composition contains (A) linear aromatic (co)polycarbonate, (B) a graft (co)polymer having core-shell morphology, the shell con-taining polymerized alkyl(meth)acrylate and the core containing interpenetrated and inseparable polyorganosiloxane and poly(meth)alkyl acrylate components, (C) a phosphorous-containing flame retardant compound, (D) fluorinated polyolefin and (E) a boron compound, and optionally SAN. The composition is further characterized in that it contains no polyalkylene terephthalate.
Linvention concerne une composition de moulage thermoplastique caractérisée par sa résistance aux flammes et sa résistance aux impacts. La composition contient (A) un (co)polycarbonate aromatique linéaire, (B) un (co)polymère greffé qui présente une morphologie noyau-enveloppe, lenveloppe contenant du (méth)acrylate dalkyle polymérisé et le noyau contenant des composants polyorganosiloxane et poly(méth)acrylate dalkyle interpénétrés et inséparables, (C) un composé ignifuge contenant du phosphore, (D) une polyoléfine fluorée et (E) un composé de bore, et éventuellement du SAN. La composition est également caractérisée en ce quelle ne contient pas de polyalkylène téréphtalate.
