Self-extinguishing cable, in particular an electrical cable for low-voltage or medium-voltage power transmission or distribution of for data transmission, comprising at least one conductor and at least one flame-retardant coating positioned externally to said conductor. The flame-retardant coating is produced from an expanded polymeric material which incorporates at least one intumescent agent.
La présente invention concerne un câble auto-extinguible, en particulier un câble électrique destiné à la transmission de données ou à la transmission/distribution d'énergie à tension faible ou moyenne, comprenant au moins un conducteur et au moins un revêtement ignifuge placé à l'extérieur dudit conducteur. Ce revêtement ignifuge est fabriqué avec un matériau polymère expansé comprenant au moins un agent intumescent.
