ABSTRACT An impact toughener for rigid polyvinyl chlo- ride comprises an overpolymer of vinyl chloride or vinyl chloride acrylate copolymers overpolymerized on ethylene ethyl acrylate or ethylene methyl acrylate. The impact tougheners are blended with polyvinyl chloride to yield compositions having a toughness of at least 2.5 ft.lbs/in. as measured by the Notched Izod Test ASTM D256.
