A process and apparatus for producing solid articles from loose particulate materials that are particularly useful in the production of green compacts used in sintering processes. A charge (30) is formed by charging a mass of loose particulate material into the cavity (34) of a die between opposed first (28) and second die (128) punches, operably disposed to slide within the cavity (34), and limited to reciprocating motion in a linear direction. The first (28) and second die (128) punches are preloaded against the charge (30) and then first and second cyclically reciprocating impacting forces are applied to the first (28) and second (128) die punches, respectively, along the linear direction while holding the die (26) fixed so as to prevent damping of the impacting forces. The first and second cyclical reciprocating impacting forces may be substantially equal and may be substantially asynchronous or synchronous.
la présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil étudiés pour la fabrication d'articles solides à partir d'une matière particulaire meuble et convenant particulièrement bien pour la réalisation de pastilles vertes utilisées pour le frittage. Le procédé de mise en forme d'une charge (30) consiste à charger une masse de matière particulaire meuble dans la cavité (34) d'une matrice entre un premier poinçon (28) et un second poinçon (128) montés coulissant dans la cavité (34) et ne pouvant se déplacer que selon un mouvement alternatif linéaire. Après précharge du premier (28) et du second (128) poinçon par rapport à la charge (30), des premières et secondes forces de percussion sont appliquées alternativement et cycliquement au premier (28) et au second (128) poinçon respectivement le long de l'axe linéaire, la matrice (26) restant immobile afin d'éviter un amortissement des forces de percussion. Les premières et secondes forces de percussion soumises à un mouvement alternatif et cyclique peuvent être sensiblement égales et être appliquées de manière relativement synchrone ou asynchrone.
