A tubular member comprises an inner tubular fabric sheath of selected length and selected circumference. A first fabric sheet is laminated to one side of the tubular fabric sheath which has a width which is greater than half the circumference of the tubular sheath so that opposite longitudinal side edges which run generally parallel to the length of the tubular sheath extend beyond opposite side edges of the sheath. A second fabric sheet is laminated to the opposite side of the tubular fabric sheath which also has a width which is greater than half the circumference of the tubular sheath, so that opposite longitudinal side edges which run generally parallel to the length of the tubular sheath and extend beyond opposite side edges of the sheath. The respective opposite side edges of the first and second sheets are laminated together so as to encapsulate the tubular sheath between the first and second sheets. Preferably the tubular fabric sheath is seamless along its length. The fabric from which the sheath and the first and second fabric sheets are made may comprise a woven polypropylene cloth. The material used for lamination may comprise polyethylene, polypropylene or the like. Alternatively polyethylene cloth may be used with a polyethylene laminating material.
