In order to regenerate joint defects in the human or animal body, the invention provides an implant that is placed in the joint area. Said implant is comprised of a supporting body and, in fact, is particularly comprised of a spongy bone of human or animal origin, has infiltrating channels and, in one partial area, is impregnated (cartilage) cell suspension. This suspension penetrates into the cavities of the supporting body, the number of which preferably being increased by removing fats, cells, connective tissues, vessels or the like and into which cartilage cells settle whereupon forming a new cartilage tissue.
L'invention concerne un implant servant à réparer des défauts articulaires dans le corps d'êtres humains ou d'animaux, cet implant étant disposé dans une zone articulaire. L'implant selon l'invention est constitué d'un corps porteur, en particulier d'un os spongieux d'origine humaine ou animale, qui comporte des canaux d'infiltration et dont une partie est imprégnée d'une suspension de cellules (cartilagineuses). Cette suspension pénètre dans les espaces creux du corps porteur dont le nombre est augmenté, de préférence par suppression de graisses, cellules, tissus conjonctifs, vaisseaux ou éléments analogues. Les cellules cartilagineuses s'établissent dans ces espaces creux et forment ultérieurement un nouveau tissu cartilagineux.
