The invention concerns an implant for deep sclerectomy for draining aqueous humour during surgical treatment of glaucoma. The invention is characterized in that said implant is made of crosslinked hyaluronic acid and has substantially the shape of a polyhedron with at least five faces, advantageously the shape of a polyhedron with five or six faces. In a preferred embodiment, said implant has substantially the shape of a prism, advantageously straight with a trapezoidal base.
La présente invention a pour objet un implant de sclérectomie profonde, destiné à drainer l'humeur aqueuse dans le cadre d'un traitement chirurgical du glaucome. De façon caractéristique, ledit implant est en acide hyaluronique réticulé et présente sensiblement la forme d'un polyèdre à au moins cinq faces, avantageusement sensiblement la forme d'un polyèdre à cinq ou six faces. Selon une variante préférée, ledit implant présente sensiblement la forme d'un prisme, avantageusement droit, à base trapézoïdale.
