Abstract of the Disclosure This invention consist of a universal implement which may be used to open all screw-on and twist-on lids on glass jars and to loosen and tighten oil filters of all diameters on motor vehicles and the like. Several gadgets to open lids on glass jars are already available. however to the best of my knowledge, non of these fulfills its purpose without the user also having to resort to banging the lid or putting it under hot water, both a time-consuming and frustrating exercise, The adjustability of this implement makes it ideal for use on the various-size oil filters on motor vehicles and the like and there is on longer the rubbing of metal against metal when such filters are opened.
