An aqua-ammonia absorption apparatus comprising an absorber, a generator, a condenser and an evaporator, the generator (10) comprising a boiler section (12), a solution-heated-desorber section (14), an adiabatic desorber (16) or GAX desorber (36) section, and a rectifier section (18), the interior space of at least one of said sections of said generator being substantially filled with structured packing material inert to an aqueous ammonia solution at generator operating temperatures.
L'invention concerne un appareil à absorption eau-ammoniac composé d'un absorbeur, d'un générateur, d'un condenseur et d'un évaporateur, le générateur (10) comprenant un section de bouilleur (12), une section de désorbeur de solution chauffée (14), une section de désorbeur adiabatique (16) ou de désorbeur GAX (36), et une section de rectificateur (18). L'espace intérieur d'au moins une de ces sections dudit générateur est sensiblement remplie avec une matière de remplissage structurée inerte à une solution eau-ammoniac à des températures de fonctionnement de générateur.
