The invention is directed toward a bone-ten-don-bone assembly extended between two shaped cancellous bone blocks (30) and a method of inserting same in a joint. Each substantially cylindrical shaped cancellous bone block (30) has a central through going bore (32), a flat exterior lon-gitudinal surface (34) and a channel longitudinally cut in the exterior of the bone block body (30) opposite the flat longi-tudinal surface. A tendon replacement is inserted through the central through going bore (32) around the end of each block and looped back along the flat longitudinal side (34) with each block (30) being in a reversed orientation position as to the other block. A channel cut in the exterior surface of each block is adapted to receive an interference screw to keep the block anchored in a bone tunnel previously cut in the respec-tive bones of a joint.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif os-tendon-os reliant deux blocs (30) d'os spongieux et sur son procédé d'insertion dans une articulation. Chacun des blocs (30) d'os spongieux, de forme sensiblement cylindrique, présente une lumière (32) centrale traversante, une surface longitudinale plane extérieure (34), et un canal longitudinal découpé dans l'extérieur des blocs (30) à l'opposé de la surface longitudinale plane. On insère dans la lumière centrale (32) au niveau de l'extrémité de chaque bloc un tendon de remplacement formant une boucle autour de la surface longitudinale plane (34), chacun des blocs étant placé dans une position inversé par rapport à l'autre. Un canal foré dans la surface extérieure de chaque bloc reçoit une vis d'interférence qui assure l'ancrage du bloc dans un tunnel préalablement percé dans chacun des os de l'articulation.
