There is disclosed herein a bookmark to be attached to the back of a book to separate read and unread pages and which carries indicia-receiving areas for receiving advertising or reader's notes. The bookmark is a thin elongated rectangular member made of a vinyl, having an adhesive carrying area on the back side adjacent the top edge and an indicia-receiving area on the front side. The bookmark is adapted to be attached to a book back page by the adhesive area, flexes over the unread pages, to be positioned between read and unread pages and have the indicia-receiving area on the front facing the reader so that indicia thereon is oriented and positioned to be read.
La présente invention vise un signet à fixer au dos d'un livre pour séparer les pages lues des pages à lire, qui se compose d'une section pouvant recevoir une empreinte portant une publicité ou un texte à l'intention du lecteur. Le signet a la forme d'une languette de vinyle rectangulaire dont l'endroit présente une zone pouvant recevoir une empreinte et l'envers, une section adhésive située près de la rive supérieure. Le signet est conçu pour être fixé à la couverture arrière d'un livre à l'aide de la section adhésive, puis recourbé au-dessus des pages à lire, et enfin fixé entre la dernière page lue et la prochaine page à lire de manière que la section pouvant recevoir une empreinte qui se trouve sur la face vue soit placée et orientée de manière à être facile à lire.
