The invention is an improvement in a carrier (10) of the type used for testing circuit boards (20) in an en- vironmental test chamber (11). The improvement in- cludes a plurality of frame-supported, spaced-apart shelves (31, 33, 35). Pairs of shelves are used to hold cir- cuit boards (20) being tested. The position of at least one shelf (31, 33, 35) in such a pair is adjustable to se- lect the proper dimension to support circuit boards (20) of any of several particular sizes. In a highly preferred arrangement, shelves (31, 33, 35) are arranged in two groups (91a, 91b). At least one of the two or more shelves (31, 33, 35) in each group (91a, 91b) is adjus- table so that the carrier (10) simultaneously accommo- dates circuit boards (20) of differing sizes for test. Ar- rangements are shown whereby circuit boards (20) of varying heights and/or lengths can be mounted in the carrier (10) for simultaneous testing.
