A level of the type having an elongate hollow frame including two sidewalls each defining axially aligned vial openings into the frame. A vial casing is secured with respect to the frame and defines a hermetically sealed single-cavity casing interior entirely enclosing a liquid- and-bubble vial with a substantially cylindrical outer surface extending between two vial ends. The cylindrical wall has a pair of opposed major wall-portions of first thickness and a pair of opposed intervening wall-portions of second thickness greater than the first thickness defining a recess which snugly receives a corresponding one of the vial ends. The inner surface of the surrounding wall is smooth and substantially free of light-ray-interfering structures, whereby the vial appears embedded in the surrounding wall and the face-walls provide uninterrupted full views of and about the cylindrical vial.
L'invention porte sur un niveau du type qui présente un cadre creux allongé comprenant deux parois latérales dont chacune définit dans le cadre des ouvertures du flacon, axialement alignées. Une enveloppe de flacon est fixée par rapport au cadre et définit un intérieur d'enveloppe à cavité unique, hermétiquement scellé, qui enferme entièrement un flacon à liquides et bulles, et qui présente une surface extérieure sensiblement cylindrique s'étendant entre deux extrémités du flacon. La paroi cylindrique possède une paire de parties de paroi principales opposées d'une première épaisseur et une paire de parties de paroi intermédiaires opposées d'une seconde épaisseur supérieure à la première épaisseur, définissant un renfoncement qui reçoit en ajustement serré l'une des extrémités correspondantes du flacon. La surface interne de la paroi périphérique est lisse et sensiblement exempte de structures faisant interférence avec les rayons lumineux, ce par quoi le flacon semble incorporé dans la paroi périphérique, et les parois frontales assurent une vision complète et ininterrompue du flacon cylindrique et autour de ce dernier.
