A collapsible box (10) has hinges (21, 23, 29, 31) which are vertically staggered to permit the box to collapse into a relatively flat configu- ration for easy stacking and transport. When the box is erected, interlocking features (55, 57) on the edges of the sides of the box interengage to hold the box in a vertical configuration. A periph- eral groove (37) is provided to receive a shipping strap (39). The walls (13, 15, 17, 19) of the box are hinged to the bottom of the box in such a way that the walls may pivot inwardly to collapse the box as well as outwardly to permit easy cleaning of the inner surfaces of the box walls.
Caisse pliante (10) qui comporte des charnières (21, 25, 29, 31) décalées verticalement pour permettre le pliage de la caisse dans une configuration relativement plate facilitant l'empilage et le transport. Lorsque la caisse est montée, des éléments de verrouillage (55, 57) sur les bords des côtés de la caisse s'emboîtent les uns dans les autres pour maintenir la caisse en configuration verticale.
