A delimber having a carriage with a fixed length delimber boom having uprights at each end between which extend tensioning cables, above the boom, for helping to strengthen the boom. The boom is movably mounted relative to the carriage and hydraulic hoses extend between the boom and the carriage for use in operating delimbing means on the boom. A trolley is movably mounted on the tensioning cables above the boom for handling the hydraulic hoses. Moving means move the trolley on the cables, through the movement of the boom, to maintain the hydraulic hoses relatively tight at all times irregardless the position of the boom relative to the carriage.
