A framing device (10), used for displaying items such as photographs, certificates and the like, includes a sheet of translucent material (12) having an outward side (14) and an inward side (16) and a common continuous edge (20). An adhesive (22) is applied along the inward side (16) adjacent to the continuous edge (20) in such a manner that a portion of such edge (20) remains adhesive-free. A sheet of backing material (18) and a second side (32) and the first side (30) of such foam is postitionally secured by the adhesive (22) and with respect to the translucent material (12). And a release liner (34) is attached to the second side (32) of the backing material (18). The adhesive-free portion of the edge (20) and the sheet of backing sheet (18) define a slot permitting insertion and removal of an item to be displayed.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'encadrement (10), utilisé pour afficher des articles tels que photographies, certificats, etc. Le dispositif comprend un matériau plan transparent (12) comportant une face externe (14) et une face interne (16) séparées par un bord continu commun (20). Un adhésif (22) est appliqué le long de la face interne (16) à proximité du bord continu (20), de façon qu'une partie de ce dernier reste dépourvue d'adhésif. Une feuille de matériau support (18) comprend une première face (30) et une seconde face (32). La première face (30) de ladite mousse est positionnée et fixée au moyen de l'adhésif (22) par rapport au matériau transparent (12). Une couche de libération (34) est fixée sur la seconde face (32) du matériau support (18).
