More particularly, embodiments of the present invention provide an improved code discriminator (210) utilizes the early, prompt, and late correlator values. For example, the code discriminator (210) may use a discriminator function that is normalized based on all three of the early, prompt, and late correlator values generated by an integrate and dump module (208).
