The present invention relates to a door operating system for controlling the movement of a door, the system having a motor (212) with shaft for providing rotational energy to the system and a gear chain assembly for receiving the rotational energy from the motor shaft and applying the energy to the door to move the door, comprising a sprocket rotatably mounted on the gear chain assembly and fixebly coupled to the motor shaft; a drive pin fixebly disposed on the procket; a rotational energy receiving extension, a drive dog, and the sprocket and the extension being disposed on the gear chain assembly such that rotational movement of the sprocket causes the drive pin to rotatably move into contact with the drive dog and apply rotational energy to the drive dog thereby transmitting rotational energy to the door when rotating in one direction and moving away from the drive dog when rotating in the other direction.
Cette invention se rapporte à un système de fermeture de porte, qui sert à commander le mouvement d'une porte et qui comprend à cet effet un moteur (212) pourvu d'un arbre menant fournissant l'énergie de rotation au système et d'un ensemble chaîne d'engrenage recevant l'énergie de rotation provenant de l'arbre menant et appliquant cette énergie à la porte, ce système comprenant en outre une roue dentée montée rotative sur l'ensemble chaîne d'engrenage et accouplée en position fixe à l'arbre menant; un ergot d'entraînement placé en position fixe sur la roue dentée; un prolongement recevant l'énergie de rotation et un toc d'entraînement; la roue dentée et ledit prolongement étant disposés sur l'ensemble chaîne d'engrenage, pour que le mouvement de rotation de la roue dentée amène l'ergot d'entraînement à venir par rotation en contact avec le toc d'entraînement et à appliquer une énergie de rotation au toc d'entraînement, transmettant ainsi l'énergie de rotation à la porte lors de sa rotation dans une direction et s'éloignant du toc d'entraînement lors de sa rotation dans l'autre direction.
