Modified starch encapsulated oil particles and a process for making said particles. The particles contain a modified starch, compatible hydrophobic additive and perfume, flavor or other oils wherein the hydrophobic additive is directly added to the oil prior to emulsification with a modified starch. The encapsulated oil particles are especially useful in laundry compositions.

L'invention concerne des particules d'huile encapsulées contenant de l'amidon modifié, ainsi qu'un procédé permettant de les fabriquer. Les particules contiennent un amidon modifié, un additif hydrophile compatible et un parfum, une saveur ou d'autres huiles. L'additif hydrophile est directement ajouté à l'huile avant émulsification avec un amidon modifié. Les particules d'huile encapsulées sont particulièrement utiles dans des compositions de lessives.
