A nanotube containing an explosive compound, including a nanotube having an internal cavity defined by walls of the nanotube; and an explosive compound contained within the internal cavity of the nanotube and a method of forming the explosive-compound containing nanotube. A process of providing energy to a predetermined location, including providing a nanotube at a predetermined location on a substrate, exposing the nanotube to an explosive compound; and detonating the explosive compound within the nanotube to release energy at the predetermined location. A process of stabilizing an explosive compound, including providing an explosive compound, in which the explosive compound has a first sensitivity to shock and/or friction; exposing a nanotube cavity to the explosive compound, so that the explosive compound enters the cavity; in which, in the cavity, the explosive compound has a second sensitivity to shock and/or friction reduced in relation to the first sensitivity.

L'invention porte: sur un nanotube contenant un composé explosif, consistant en un nanotube présentant une cavité interne définie par ses parois; et un composé explosif contenu dans la cavité interne du nanotube; sur une méthode de formation du nanotube contenant le composé explosif; sur un procédé de fourniture d'énergie à un emplacement prédéterminé d'un substrat, consistant à exposer le nanotube à un composé explosif et à faire détonner le composé explosif dans le nanotube pour libérer de l'énergie à l'emplacement prédéterminé; sur un procédé de stabilisation d'un composé explosif, consistant: à obtenir un composé explosif présentant une première sensibilité au choc et-ou à la friction et à exposer la cavité d'un nanotube au composé explosif pour que le composé explosif pénêtre dans la cavité dans laquelle il présente une deuxième sensibilité au choc et-ou à la friction, réduite par rapport à la première sensibilité.
