A liquid dispensing faucet including a flow control lever engaging a sealing member within an internal cavity of a faucet body. The sealing member is held within the faucet body in an oversized recess permitting liquid to flow about all sides of the sealing member when the flow control handle is placed in an open position and liquid flows through the faucet body. The faucet body may have a removable spout mounted at a second end of the body. An air inlet may be included within a flow path of the liquid downstream of the sealing member. This air inlet promotes the removal of residual liquid from the flow path when the flow lever is in a closed position and is positioned to discourage flow of the liquid through the air inlet when the flow lever is in an open position.
La présente invention concerne un robinet de distribution de liquide comportant un levier de commande de débit en prise avec un organe d'étanchéité dans une cavité intérieure d'un corps de robinet. L'organe d'étanchéité est maintenu dans le corps de robinet dans un évidement surdimensionné permettant l'écoulement de liquide autour des faces de l'organe d'étanchéité lorsque la poignée de commande de débit est placée dans une position ouverte et le liquide s'écoule à travers le corps de robinet. Le corps de robinet peut comporter un bec amovible monté à une seconde extrémité du corps. Un orifice d'admission d'air peut être inclus dans le chemin d'écoulement du liquide en aval de l'organe d'étanchéité. Cet orifice d'admission d'air favorise l'élimination de liquide résiduel du chemin d'écoulement lorsque le levier de débit se trouve dans une position fermée et positionné pour empêcher l'écoulement de liquide à travers l'orifice d'admission d'air lorsque le levier de débit est en position fermée.
