A flexible bioreactor intended for culturing cells in a liquid medium (20), the bioreactor (1) comprising a flexible wall forming a fluid impermeable bottom wall (2) of the bioreactor when in use, wherein flexible parts (3) of said flexible bottom wall are interrupted by at least one rigid element (4) of said flexible bottom wall, the rigid element (4) and the flexible parts (3) being connected fluid tightly, and wherein the rigid element comprises measuring means (10; 110) allowing for non-invasive monitoring of cellular activity in said bioreactor when in use. La présente invention concerne un bioréacteur flexible destiné à la culture de cellules dans un milieu liquide (20). Ledit bioréacteur (1) comprend une paroi souple formant une paroi inférieure imperméable aux fluides (2) lorsque le bioréacteur est en cours d'utilisation. Ladite paroi comprend des parties souples (3) interrompues par au moins un élément rigide (4), et ledit élément rigide (4) et les parties souples (3) sont connectés de façon à former une étanchéité aux fluides. L'élément rigide intègre des dispositifs de mesure (10; 110) permettant la surveillance non invasive de l'activité cellulaire dans ledit bioréacteur lorsque celui-ci est en cours d'utilisation.
