A fuel regulator for increasing or decreasing the flow of fuel to a burner and for using a plurality of different fuels. A fuel level ie established within a drum and perforations, conveniently holes, having a known cross- sectional area are located beneath the fuel level. By increasing or decreasing the cross-sectional areas of the holes beneath the fuel level, the fuel being regulated may be increased or decreased. The cross-sectional area of the holes beneath the fuel level is controlled by rotating the drum with the fuel level within the drum remaining unchanged.
