With a simple circuit modification, an interference voltage is guided into at least one half-bridge circuit of a high-frequency circuit arrangement for a fluorescent lamp L to a secondary winding of a transformer (RKc), is rectified with a diode (D12), and is utilized, if needed, for stabilizing the switch position.
