ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A draw tape trash bag made of linear low densi- ty polyethylene film has a tack seal between the folded over hem portion of the top of the bag and the adjacent panel. The tack seal extends in the direction of extru- sion across the width of the bag below the draw tape. It includes a continuous line of heat fused polyethylene formed by applying heat, but limited pressure, in an amount just sufficient to weld the polyethylene.
