A windshield washer system wherein a nozzle is mounted on the hood (H) of a vehicle and issues a jet of washer fluid in the ambient toward the windshield (W). The nozzle has a housing (E) and a projecting surface, air deflector or tab (T) formed with or attached to the nozzle housing (E) for aerodynamically assuring that the washer fluid impinges on the windshield (W) in a predetermined area thereon at speeds above a predetermined minimum. In preferred embodiments, the projecting surface, air deflector or tab (T) projects from about 6 mm to about 12 mm above the nozzle housing (E).
Cette invention concerne un système de lave-glace dans lequel le gicleur est monté sur le capot du véhicule et délivre un jet de liquide de lave-glace, dans l'espace environnant, en direction du pare-brise (W). Le gicleur possède un logement (E) et une surface protubérante, un déflecteur d'air ou un volet intégré ou fixé audit logement de gicleur (E), de forme aérodynamique, qui permet au liquide du lave-glace de frapper le pare-brise (W) au niveau d'une zone préétablie, à des vitesses du véhicule supérieures à une vitesse minimale préétablie. Dans les réalisations préférées, la surface protubérante, le déflecteur d'air ou le volet (T) font saillie d'environ 6 à 12 mm par rapport au logement du gicleur (E).
