In a process for the dehydrocyclization of a dehydrocyclizable hydrocarbon contained in a dehydrocyclization feed stream which comprises contacting said dehydrocyclizable hydrocarbon in a dehydrocyclization zone under dehydrocyclization conditions in the presence of a dehydrocyclization catalyst, the improvement comprises carrying out said dehydrocyclization process in the presence of a metal chloride additive in said dehydrocyclization feed stream, said metal chloride additive being present in an amount sufficient to inhibit deactivation of such dehydrocyclization catalyst.
Cette invention concerne un procédé de déhydrocyclisation d'un hydrocarbure déhydrocyclisable contenu dans un flux de mélange de déhydrocyclisation. Ce procédé consiste à placer l'hydrocarbure dans une zone et dans des conditions de déhydrocyclisation en présence d'un catalyseur de déhydrocyclisation. L'amélioration tient à ce que le processus de déhydrocyclisation se déroule en présence d'un additif à base d'un chlorure de métal dans le flux de mélange de déhydrocyclisation, lequel additif est utilisé dans une quantité suffisante pour inhiber la désactivation du catalyseur de déhydrocyclisation.
