A junction box for an in floor electrical raceway system includes a housing and a cover assembly which is removably mounted on the housing. The housing includes duct openings for connecting ducts in communication the hollow interior of the housing. The ducts are secured in the openings by metallic clips which are inserted into the housing subsequent to positioning of the duct within the duct opening. The metallic clips have serrated legs which engage against the side wall of the duct to simultaneously ground and bias the duct within the duct opening.
