An oil/grease separation apparatus includes an inlet section (28) for receiving a liquid. Gross solids are separated from the liquid flow and collected in the inlet section. A water jet ejector (40) is provided having a solids extraction port (44) in the lower portion of the inlet section. The eductor is actuated by supplying pressurized water (18) to create a suction to extract the solids from the inlet section. The solids are directed to an outlet (16) or an alternate disposal system. Oil and grease are removed by a separator (38) in a downstream section (22).
L'invention concerne un appareil de séparation de l'eau et des graisses comportant une section d'admission (28) conçue pour loger un liquide. Les corps solides bruts sont séparés du liquide et recueillis dans cette section d'admission. L'appareil selon l'invention comprend également un éjecteur à jet d'eau (40) pourvu d'un orifice d'extraction (44) de solides dans la partie inférieure de la section d'admission. Cet éjecteur est actionné par l'introduction d'eau sous pression (18) destinée à créer une aspiration servant à extraire les solides de la section d'admission.
