The invention relates to a method for producing lightning arrestors, comprising steps that consist of stacking the varistors (10) and, in between the steps of stacking and forming the wrapping, which consists of a composite material (40), arranging a cord (30) consisting of a flexible, adhesive and dielectric material on the stack formed, opposite the different interfaces between each pair of adjacent varistors (10).
