An improved manifold calibration finger (10) which can be used in conjunction with a die head (15) in the extrusion of a plastic with the manifold calibration finger (10) comprising a first section (25) comprising an elongated tubular mem- ber having a grooved outer surface (30, 33, 37) and an elongated central channel (64) extending through the first section from one end of the first section to the other.
