Disclosed are an improved open cell polymer mesh and washing implement made therefrom, which exhibit superior softness, while also retaining good resiliency. To achieve the improved softness and resiliency of the improved washing implement an improved open cell mesh is provided which is softer and sufficiently resilient as a result of its controlled cell structure parameters. In preferred embodiments, the controlled physical parameters of the open cell mesh include basis weight, cell count, node count, node length, node thickness, node width, and cell geometry.
L'invention concerne un tissu maillé polymère à alvéoles ouverts amélioré et un ustensile de lavage fabriqué à partir dudit tissu, qui présentent une plus grande douceur tout en gardant une bonne résilience. Pour que l'ustensile de lavage ait lesdites douceur et résilience améliorées, on fabrique un tissu maillé plus doux et plus résilient en contrôlant les paramètres de la structure cellulaire. Dans les modes de réalisation préférés, les paramètres physiques contrôlés du tissu alvéolé comprennent la masse surfacique, le nombre de cellules, le nombre, la longueur, l'épaisseur et la largeur des noeuds, et la géométrie des alvéoles.
