Parallelogram lift for motor vehicles, comprising a pair of base longitudinal members (2), a pair of runways (12) and at least two pairs of arms (14, 14') hinged to said longitudinal members (2) and to said runways (12) and associated with members (30) for varying the inclination of said arms (14, 14') to said longitudinal members (2) and to said runways (12), wherein each longitudinal member (2) comprises a fixed base (4, 6) anchored to the floor, and a counter-base (8) slidable axially relative to said fixed base and carrying said arms (14, 14') hinged thereto, and also comprises for each longitudinal member (2) an auxiliary arm (22) hinged at its lower end to a support (26) fixed to the floor in alignment with said longitudinal member and pivoted at its upper end to the central point (20) of the adjacent main arm (14), the length of said auxiliary arm (22) between its pivotal axes (24, 20) being equal to one half the length of said main arms (14, 14').

La présente invention concerne un élévateur en parallélogramme optimisé pour véhicules motorisés qui comprend une paire d'éléments longitudinaux de base (2), une paire de chemins de roulement (12) et au moins deux paires de bras (14, 14') articulées sur lesdits éléments longitudinaux (2) et sur lesdits chemins de roulement (12) et associés à des éléments (30) pour varier l'inclination desdits bras (14, 14') par rapport auxdits éléments longitudinaux (2) et par rapport auxdits chemins de roulement (12), caractérisé en ce que chaque élément longitudinal (2) comprend une base fixe (4, 6) ancrée au sol, et une contre-base (8) qui peut coulisser de façon axiale par rapport à ladite base fixe et supporte lesdits bras (14, 14') articulés sur celle-ci, et comprend également pour chaque élément longitudinal (2) un bras auxiliaire (22) qui est articulé au niveau de son extrémité inférieure sur un support (26) fixé au sol en alignement avec ledit élément longitudinal et qui pivote au niveau de son extrémité supérieure sur le point central (20) du bras principal adjacent (14), la longueur dudit bras auxiliaire (22) entre ses axes de pivotement (24, 20) étant égale à la moitié de la longueur desdits bras principaux (14, 14').
