A plug valve assembly having an inlet and an outletcomprisesa housing including a bore extending through the housing between the inlet and the outlet and acavityintersecting the bore, a plug mounted in the cavity for rotation between first and second positions. In the first position an orifice extending through the plug is aligned axially with the bore of housing to allow fluid to flow from the inlet to the outlet and in the second position fluid is prevented from flowing from the inlet to the outlet. Seals are located in the cavitybetween the plug and an inner surface ofsaid cavityand a plug retaining member is releasably attachable to the housing. A surface of the plug retaining memberlimits upward movement ofthe plug in the housing. The housing includes a reinforcement collar extending around the inner surface of the cavity.
La présente invention a pour objet un ensemble robinet à tournant ayant une entrée et une sortie, comprenant un logement comportant un alésage s'étendant de part et d'autre du logement entre l'entrée et la sortie et une cavité entrecoupant l'alésage, un tournant monté dans la cavité pour effectuer une rotation entre les première et seconde positions. Dans la première position, un orifice s'étendant de part et d'autre du tournant est aligné axialement avec l'alésage du logement pour permettre au fluide de s'écouler de l'entrée vers la sortie, et, dans la seconde position, on empêche l'écoulement du fluide de l'entrée vers la sortie. Des joints d'étanchéité sont situés dans la cavité entre le tournant et une surface interne de ladite cavité et un élément de retenue de tournant peut être fixé de manière libérable sur le logement. Une surface de l'élément de retenue de tournant limite le mouvement vers le haut du tournant dans le logement. Le logement comprend une bague de renfort s'étendant autour de la surface interne de la cavité.
