An improved diluent for the preparation of cisplatin suspensions from a lyophilized powder is provided. The diluent contains a pharmaceutically acceptable nonionic surfactant, which improves the accuracy and homogeneity of the therapeutic formulation. The suspension may be used directly, or may be used in preparing gel formulations for direct injection into a neoplastic lesion or surrounding tissue.
La présente invention concerne un diluant perfectionné pour la préparation de suspensions de cisplatine à partir d'une poudre lyophilisée. Le diluant contient un agent tensioactif non ionique pharmaceutiquement admis et qui améliore la précision et l'homogénéité de la formulation thérapeutique. Cette suspension, directement utilisable, peut également servir à la préparation de formulations de gel destinées à l'injection directe dans des lésions néoplasiques ou dans le tissu environnant.
