2103149 9221637 PCTABS00017 A process for the alkylation of at least one olefin with at least one paraffin in the presence of an alkylation catalyst to produce alkylates wherein the at least one olefin is alkylated with at least one paraffin in the presence of a slurry of catalyst particles. A portion of the catalyst particles is removed during the reaction, and active catalyst particles are added to the slurry. The process of the present invention is particularly applicable to the alkylation of butenes with isobutane to produce alkylates.
