The present invention relates to improved product dispensers for various spreadable products, including fluids, suspensions, lotions, creams, emulsions, and gels. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the dispenser is in the form of an improved roll-on type applicator (10) with an enlarged application/distribution surface in the form of a dome (50) with an aperture (51) for exposing a portion of the rotating element (40). As product is expressed from the gap between the element and dome, it follows the surface of the element into contact with the desired surface and is thereby applied to this surface. Excess product not applied to the desired surface by the element either follows the element surface through the gap between the element and the dome back into the container or is sheared from the element surface by the edge of the aperture in the dome. This sheared-off product flows onto the dome surface or contacts other pans of the desired receiving surface and is distributed by the application/distribution surface of the dome, which functions both as a secondary applicator for this undistributed product and as a primary distributor for evening out the total product distribution on the desired surface, thus providing an improved means for uniformly applying and distributing product dispensed by the rotating element. The resulting roll-on applicator enables the product to be more easily applied in a consistent, less messy fashion, and the simplicity of the package construction equates to a very user- friendly package which is cost effective to produce and reliable and operation.
La présente invention se rapporte à des distributeurs améliorés pour différents types de produits aptes à être étalés, y compris des fluides, des suspensions, des laits, des crèmes, des émulsions et des gels. Dans un mode préféré de réalisation de la présente invention, le distributeur se présente sous forme d'un applicateur amélioré (10) du type à bille, doté d'une surface d'application/de répartition élargie, sous forme de calotte (50), présentant un orifice (51) qui permet d'exposer une partie de l'élément tournant (40). Tout excédent de produit qui n'a pas été appliqué sur la surface de réception par l'élément tournant suit la surface de ce dernier pour réintégrer le flacon par la fente entre l'élément tournant et la calotte, ou alors, il est enlevé, par effet de cisaillement, de la surface de l'élément tournant par le rebord de l'orifice ménagé dans la calotte. Ce produit enlevé s'écoule sur la surface de la calotte ou entre en contact avec d'autres parties de la surface de réception de façon à être réparti par la surface d'application/de répartition de la calotte, qui fonctionne à la fois comme un applicateur secondaire pour ce produit non distribué, et comme applicateur principal permettant de répartir régulièrement la totalité du produit sur la surface de réception. Cela permet d'obtenir un moyen amélioré destiné à appliquer et à répartir uniformément le produit distribué par l'élément tournant. L'applicateur à bille ainsi obtenu permet d'appliquer le produit plus aisément, de manière régulière et plus propre, la simplicité du conditionnement permettant d'obtenir un emballage facile à utiliser, de fabrication économique et de fonctionnement fiable.
