An implantable prosthesis for repairing or reconstructing a tissue or muscle wall defect including an outer plug and at least two inner filler plugs positioned within the outer plug that stiffen, and impart bulk to, the outer plug when the implant is inserted into the narrow confines of the tissue or muscle wall defect.

Cette invention se rapporte à une prothèse implantable destinée à la réfection et à la reconstruction d'un défaut de paroi musculaire ou tissulaire. Ladite prothèse comporte un obturateur externe et au moins deux obturateurs de remplissage internes positionnés à l'intérieur de l'obturateur externe qui durcissent et donnent à l'obturateur externe son volume lorsqu'on introduit l'implant dans l'espace confiné du défaut de paroi musculaire ou tissulaire.
